RICHMOND, B.C, 8 June 2012. MacDonald, Dettwiler, and Associates (MDA; TSX:MDA) won a contract to provide training support to aid the British Army in such tasks as acquiring video with small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

Video will be transmitted in real time to soldiers' remote terminals to train personnel in the use surveillance aircraft and the information collected.

The training exercises will be conducted from June to October 2012, with an option for an additional year.
