Veracity Engineering wins 7-year, $100 million to support FAA Air Traffic Control Communications Services Group

WASHINGTON, 20 Sept. 2012. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials have named Veracity Engineering, a provider of program management and systems engineering, as prime contractor for its Enterprise Communications Support Services (ECSS) Small Business Set-Aside contract.

"This contract underscores Veracity Engineering's ongoing commitment to supporting the FAA's mission and the transformation of the National Airspace System (NAS) to achieve NextGen objectives," says Hai Tran, president and CEO, Veracity Engineering. “Our team understands the critical role communications systems have within NAS operations. This is why we assembled a team of industry-leading companies with access to readily available incumbent personnel and decades of experience supporting the Air Traffic Control Communications Services Group.” These companies include: Basic Commerce and Industries, Booz Allen Hamilton, Business Process and Automation Services, CenturyLink, Cobec Consulting, Engility Corporation, Human Solutions, ICF International, North Star Group, TASC, and THANE Inc.

The ECSS contract’s goal is to obtain a range of support services within program management, acquisition support, system engineering, operations management and support, and business and financial management. Services to be performed on ECSS include: knowledge transfer of the latest technologies, methods, approaches, and products that can lead to new, innovative solutions and best practices within the organization.

The Veracity Team will help facilitate the implementation and execution of NextGen-enabling communications infrastructure programs, such as System Wide Information Management (SWIM), Data Communications (DataComm), and the NAS Voice System (NVS).
