WESTPORT, Conn., 18 Oct. 2012. Piedmont Propulsion Systems LLC (PPS), a subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc. (FAVS.PK), has moved to a new 66,000-square-foot facility at Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, N.C.

PPS officials relocated the business to accommodate business growth and newly acquired state-of-the-art equipment.

“Our new facility will further improve our excellent turn times while maintaining the highest level of quality for our customers,” says Sammy Oakley, general manager, PPS. “As a result of the wonderful team here at PPS along with the cooperation of the Federal Aviation Administration, Airport Commission, and Local, County, and State officials, we were able to regain full capacity in record time."

PPS repairs and maintains propellers and governors for civil and military aircraft.
