CHICAGO, 4 Feb. 2015. Officials at ThermoElectric Cooling America (TECA)in Chicago are introducing the company’s Pivot Clean design, providing end users easier access to the external heat sink fins for cleaning.

Thermoelectric coolers – used in a variety of industry verticals, including aerospace – are a low-maintenance choice for remote and hard to access areas, explains a company spokesperson. “Accessing the heat sink is made even simpler with TECA’s innovative Pivot Clean design,” the spokesperson adds. “The end user can simply open the external housing without having to remove it from the air conditioner.”

TECA air conditioners with Pivot Clean are available for NEMA-12/4/4X and CID2 enclosures. Cooling capacities with Pivot Clean range from 200 to 1100 BTU/hr.
