Asia Pacific Jets places first order for Nextant 400XT remanufactured business jets for service in Asia
SINGAPORE, 24 Aug. 2012. Asia Pacific Jets has placed an order for 10 Nextant Aerospace 400XT aircraft, which is being called the only FAA-certified remanufactured business jet.
Ten Nextant 400XT aircraft will be delivered over a period of three years. A portion of the jets will be outfitted as 400XT air ambulances, whereas others will gain the normal 400XT business jet configuration.
Asia Pacific Jets will serve as a sales agent in Asia for the 400XT. The company also has partnered with Hong Kong-based AirMed Asia, a subsidiary of AirMed International.
The first two of the 10-aircraft order will be delivered by the end of 2012--a timeframe that aligns with the opening of a new Singapore base being launched by Asia Pacific Jets and AirMed Asia later this year.

The Nextant 400XT features a remanufactured Beechjet 400A/XP airframe enhanced with state-of-the-art technology, including the Williams FJ44-3AP turbofan engine, the Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 integrated avionics suite, new interiors, and advanced electronics, including high-speed wireless Internet service. The resulting aircraft has a 2,005 nautical mile (3,713 km) range and cruising speed of 460 nautical miles per hour (740 km per hour).
