BASEL, Switzerland, 8 June 2012. Jet Aviation Basel has completed its fifth Dassault Enhanced Avionics System (EASy) II Avionics flight deck installation on Falcon 900EX/DX/LX series aircraft.

EASy flight deck technology, based on Honeywell's Primus Epic integrated avionics system, simplifies flight management tasks by providing a computer interface to improve crew coordination and situational awareness. It is the basic flight management system for current and future Dassault Falcon cockpits.

Jet Aviation, as an authorized Dassault service center, has been installing EASy II upgrades since its market introduction last year and recently completed its fifth upgrade on Falcon 900 series aircraft. Jet Aviation will soon begin fulfilling additional orders for the upgrades.

The EASy II is an integrated modular avionics suite and cockpit display system that is used on Dassault Falcon business jets. The first EASy flight deck was delivered on a 900EX in 2003. In 2008 Dassault announced the EASy phase II program, which included upgrades such as a synthetic vision system, paperless charts and localizer performance with vertical guidance.

The EASy II upgrade is available to all Falcon F900EX/DX/LX and Falcon 7X aircraft, as well as to Falcon 2000EX/DX/LX EASy-equipped cockpits.
