ANAHEIM, Calif., 24 Feb. 2014. Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) has signed engine maintenance contracts with four U.S. emergency medical service (EMS) helicopter operators: Metro Aviation Inc., Air Medical Group Holdings, TriState CareFlight, and Life Flight Network.

These EMS helicopter operators elected to enter into long-term contracts that include: Fleet Management Program (FMP), Event Cost Plan (ECP), Zero-Time Exchange and Overhaul Program (ZIP), and T&M Engine Services Agreement.

The engine maintenance contracts are designed to help keep their fleets flying with predictable maintenance costs. The breadth of contracts among the four clients shows “the diversity of the support plan proposed by P&WC to be the closest to the operators’ operations and support demand,” officials say.

P&WC’s global customer support network includes more than 30 P&WC-owned and designated service facilities, more than 100 field support representatives, a 24-7 Customer First Centre for rapid expert support, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and large pool of rental and exchange engines.
