BILOXI, Miss. Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant helped open the International Homeland Defense & Security Summit in Biloxi, Mississippi, today with a discussion of both the challenges and available solutions to current and emerging threats.

Government and military officials, as well as aerospace and defense leaders, from the U.S. and Israel, India, South Korea, and Taiwan are convening at the International Homeland Defense & Security Summit to discuss how technology is helping personnel boost homeland defense and security, including all-important cybersecurity.

Military officials urge the importance of leveraging artificial intelligence and quantum computing to be better informed, and to target real threats. They also describe the need to rely on and adopt more technology, and public-private partnership, which builds commerce and boosts safety and security.
