KULPSVILLE, Pa. -- Seals and components manufacturer Greene Tweed is taking to the Farnborough International Airshow with a portfolio showcasing its most recent developments.

On display will be Greene Tweed's:

  • Fusion FKM 664, a chemical-resistant elastomer with tolerances ranging from -57°C to 232°C (-70°F to 450°F). The product meets Aerospace Material Specification (MAS) 7379;
  • Xycomp DLF, a lightweight, high-performance thermoplastic composite developed to replace complex metal components;
  • Chemraz 676, a high-temperature, chemical-resistant FFKM elastomer material specifically designed to exceed AMS 7257E requirements; and
  • Fireproof hydraulic seals, designed for high- and low-pressure sealing in static applications, for fireproof-rated equipment.

"At Greene Tweed, we are uniquely positioned to service the needs of the aerospace industry," said Gary Appleby, vice president and general manager of the company's aerospace division. "As we develop these newer, high-performing products, we strengthen that positioning well into the future."
