AVIONICS INTELLIGENCE REPORT, 11 June 2012. PennWell’s Aerospace & Defense Group offices are a hotbed of activity, reveals Courtney E. Howard, executive editor of Avionics Intelligence and Military & Aerospace Electronics and conference director for Avionics Europe 2013.

The staff of Avionics Europe has revamped the conference and exhibition Web site at http://www.avionics-event.com, where you can tune in to the newest online video and read the latest show news. While there, be certain to click on Call for Papers.

The Avionics Europe Advisory Board wants to hear from you: We invite industry to submit abstracts on topics, technologies, and applications of interest and import to avionics professionals throughout the ranks and all over the globe.

The process is simple: it’s just a short online form (http://forms.events.pennnet.com/fl/forms/avi/online_abstract_main.cfm) that calls for an abstract of just 100 to 300 words. The deadline for the Avionics Europe 2013 Call for Papers is this Sat., June 16, however, so time is of the essence.

In other news, Military & Aerospace Electronics Chief Editor and PennWell Aerospace & Defense Group Editorial Director John Keller will be on hand at July’s Farnborough Air Show and reporting the latest news direct from the show floor in The Farnborough Report (http://www.militaryaerospace.com/farnborough-report.html), a daily e-newsletter.
